Lower Crianlarich

(1967–Present)

Summary

Upon closure of the line between Crianlarich and Callander, a short spur was left to serve the sidings at the former Crianlarich Lower station, used for loading timber. A run-round loop was laid in on the site of the former Up loop, with hand points at each end. In 1989, Lower Crianlarich became an RETB token exchange point in connection with the introduction of Class 156 Sprinter units.
